Curiosity & insights

Faius is the name of the man who owned the hill where now stands our company at "Bosco Faiano" at the time of Roman Empire. Our Faius comes from an ambitious and challenging project: concentrate the best of our white native grapevines in a unique bottle that can evolve and improve over time. This challenge is very difficult when it concerns to a white wine. The great quality of our grapes and the wise use of oak with above all a lot of experience, have enabled us to get this special wine for palates not standardized, for wine lovers looking for something special to keep. Fermentation in oak barrel with repeated batonage (put in suspension by stirring of the good lees) promotes the production of the wine's natural defenses against oxidation and imparts a sweet spiciness on the palate. Faius is undoubtedly our white wine of excellence ... a small jewel of patient workmanship.
